Mr. & Mrs. Miller ı Wedding Photography
Presenting Mr. & Mrs. Miller!
Hannah and Brad are good friends of mine. In fact, Hannah was one of my bridesmaids and Brad was one of the 19 people invited to attend my own wedding. Hannah was one of my sorority sisters and Brad was actually in my brother's family tree in his fraternity. Both attended University of Maryland College Park, but didn't really know each other until after Hannah returned from studying abroad.
Their relationship continued post-graduation as Hannah pursued her Masters degree and Brad began his career. While commuting between Baltimore and Washington, DC, they took advantage of each moment they were able to spend together until Hannah graduated and was able to move to the DC metro area.
Their wedding was beautiful and perfectly them. I was lucky enough to be there as Hannah got ready with her bridesmaids and close family. It was truly special. To burn off nervous energy, the girls had a dance party in the bridal suite! All of the bridesmaids gathered and Hannah and danced their hearts out.
Because they were getting married on the beach, Hannah elected to be a barefoot bride. She wore simply flowers on her feet as she walked down the aisle.
Her dress was more beautiful than the setting. The flower detail was perfect for a formal wedding on the beach in Playa del Carmin, Mexico. It fit her like it was made just for her! She's a former beauty queen, so it's no surprise that she looked jaw-droppingly stunning.
Their colors were purple and orange, like the dusk sky as the Mexican sun goes down. A perfect choice for the setting! The sweetheart neckline on the bridesmaid dresses mimicked Hannah's gown, creating a sense of symmetry.
In honor of the bride's mother, who passed away a few years ago, Hannah wrapped her bouquet in part of her mother's wedding gown; the ring pillow was also created from pieces the gown. During the ceremony, they placed flowers in the ocean and took a moment to remember Hannah's mom. While she may not have physically been there, the presence of Hannah's mother was palpable.
