Philip <3 Becky

{a heartwarming love story a long time in the making} 

Becky and Philip met in preschool.  That's right: preschool.  Even though they eventually parted scholastic ways - Philip to head off to a series of private schools and Becky to remain in Montgomery County Public Schools - they saw each other once a year at a birthday party.  During their junior year in high school, Becky and Philip reconnected at their annual party and began dating. After their junior year in college, Philip asked Becky to marry him by writing out "Will you marry me?" in sidewalk chalk at their preschool's playground!  Becky obviously checked YES!
What could be more fitting as a prop in their engagement shoot than sidewalk chalk and little chalkboards?! 

After hearing their story, their relationship makes total sense.  They are silly and fun; they made every pose a game!  My largest challenge was getting a shot with serious faces - even when they were kissing!  It was hysterical and totally adorable.  

Both Becky and Philip will graduate from college this year; Philip from the United States Naval Academy and Becky from Towson University.  Philip will enter the Marine Corps, while Becky plans to become a teacher.  They will wed just after graduation in an incredibly romantic candle-lit ceremony at Georgetown Preparatory School in Rockville, Maryland. 

I had a BLAST shooting these photos and I can't wait to see what comes next for these two!  I hope you like them as much as I do!
