This is our second feature on How He Asked.  We just love them!  They always have super sweet proposal stories that just melt our hearts every time we visit the site.  Earlier this year, Ben + Kayla's surprise proposal at Great Falls in Virginia was featured; today, Rachel + Chris' Orlando proposal, turned snowy engagement session upon returning in Annapolis!

Rachel's Proposal Story

Chris and I went to Orlando for my cousin's wedding in last November. We decided to make a vacation out of the trip and ended up driving to St. Pete Beach, on the gulf coast, to spend a few days enjoying the sun and sand before heading back to chilly Maryland. We'd heard that St. Pete's white sand beaches were beautiful and that the sunsets over the water were breath-taking. One evening, we were getting ready to go to dinner and Chris suggested we go out to the beach to watch the sunset. We walked out to the sand, grabbed a seat, and chatted about nothing in particular as the sun sank toward the sea.  Just before the sun slipped over the horizon, Chris got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I, of course, said yes! We were both super excited and totally giddy about our engagement, we went to the hotel restaurant and celebrated with some champagne.
