The District Bliss Couple's Social is THIS THURSDAY and we are SUPER excited! Not only are we pumped for our social, but also to be working with some amazing vendors! The District Bliss Couples Social has been featured on quite a few blogs, including Capitol Romance, WeddingWire, United with Love, Here Comes the Guide, Bridal Bellhop, Photos from the Harty, Pollyanna Events, and more!
If you are just finding out about the District Bliss Couple's Social, let us give you a quick run down of what we are all about. First, Sara Alepin (yep, the owner of Photos from the Harty) is one of the co-owners of District Bliss -- the other owner is the lovely Sarah Campbell of Pollyanna Events. We came together to form this rad social events company to help couples plan their weddings in a fun, new way - in a pressure-free zone! We love giving tips on how to plan your wedding, meeting new people, and happy hours! We work with a group of wedding vendors who will provide a unique/fun space with wedding inspiration, wedding planning tips, fun activities, gifts, coupons, and a swag bag that was only made by the best in DC!

The lead designer, Shelli, will be at our social. She is a very talented letterpress/designer. She can take any idea and turn it into something amazing! So, if you are in need of invitations, custom stamps, bridesmaid gifts, drink stirs, coasters, or really anything else check her out! Be sure to follow her on social media to stay up to date on her latest projects!

Bridal Bellhop is a website that helps couples find the perfect vendors. It's totally personalized to YOU - so much so that we would describe it as a match-making website that pairs wedding vendors with brides and grooms. It's quite handy! Don't expect to visit the site and see pages upon pages of billions of vendors. This site is designed to streamline this process and give you what you want - without having to do all the searching yourself! Um, AWESOME!
This venue, located right in Chinatown, offers exposed brick, indoor and outdoor space, HUGE floor-to-ceiling windows, amazing craft brewed beers, tasty cocktails, yummy food, and friendly service. The event space is a blank slate that can be dressed to fit any wedding and event style. We are super excited for the signature cocktail they cooked up for us and cannot WAIT to try it!
Fabulous florist in DC! Need we say more... Jo, the lead florist is super nice, easy to work with and can make some badass flower arrangements. Big or small, she's got you covered. She can take our crazy ramblings and turn them into incredible arrangements - it's like she's a mind-reader! Be sure to check out her work if you haven't already.
Wedding welcome gifts, bags, baskets, and more! The owner and lead creator, Jamie, is fabulous! They take making welcome bags and gift baskets for your guests to a new level. They have thought of everything and it's awesome! You have to check them out if you are in need of any sort of welcome bag/gift bag/swag bag - or just in need of an awesome shower gift for a friend!
 
Best photo booth around! Forget the huge boxy photo booths, they are all about open-air booths. They design and created all of their boxes and they are freaking awesome! They're almost a work of art - and that's coming from artists! They are so easy to work with, very reliable and so fun to be around.
My partner in crime - and a super talented wedding/event planner based in DC. She is super fun to be around, great personality and can always make me laugh. Be sure to book her soon for your next wedding, event, or even party! Her schedule fills up very quickly (which isn't shocking bc she's amazing!)
