A Holiday-Themed Wedding in the Nation's Capital!

Happy Friday, everyone!  We hope you all had a WONDERFUL week and are ready to head home for some rest and relaxation this weekend - or out on the town for some FUN! :)  In honor of our "Have your cake and eat it, too, Fri-YAY!" we thought we'd share a sneak peek of an extra special holiday wedding!  We hope you enjoy this little glimpse as much as we enjoyed being part of this special event!

Sara and Karen were married at Hotel George, a boutique hotel owned by Kimpton near Union Station in Washington, DC, during the holiday season. The hotel already has awesome decor (like all of the Kimpton hotels in DC: Topaz, Monaco, Palomar, Rouge, Madera, Helix, and the Donovan House to name a few), but with the tree and holiday decorations throughout the hotel, it was just lovely.  And, then, there was the wedding!  These ladies embraced the holiday season, choosing red and champagne as their colors.  Red roses were everywhere!  (Since red is a personal favorite, editing these photographs was exceptionally fun.) 

The energy at this wedding was crazy!  Everyone was beyond happy to be there!  The dance floor was rocking all night long!  They rocked out to Christmas carols and holiday jams, including a special dance to "Baby, It's Cold Outside"; dance circles broke out spontaneously every few minutes -- it was so fun!  Everyone, including us, had a blast!  

Even though the holiday season is behind us, we couldn't help but share a sneak peek of their photographs because we just loved them all so much!  We've only included a few photos of the decor, flower arrangements, bouquets, and cake, but don't worry - we will be sure to share the rest shortly!
