Fashionista Sharon Yang Rocks the Red

Flaunt it!

Sharon is a good friend of mine.  Even when she's going to the gym, Sharon looks totally adorable.  It can be maddening.  Unless, of course, she's willing to let you borrow some of her amazing accessories!

She asked me to do this shoot because Glo Magazine's  Mother's Day issue is featuring her in an article; Glo asked women how they were influenced by their mother's style.  Sharon's answer?

"My mother has always been a firm believer that you can be covered up and still be sexy.  She grew up in a time and place where showing too much skin was unfashionable, so she learned to accentuate her petite yet curvaceous silhouette without revealing too much.  Her style taught me how clean and strong lines that draw attention to the shoulders, waist, and hips can flatter an hourglass figure."

The wardrobe and photo shoot were inspired by this picture of Sharon's beautiful mother (below).
