High School Sweethearts ı A Sweet Engagement Session at Great Falls National Park
Taylor + Amy ı A Match Made at Blake High School
We all have those people in our lives who we could be apart from for months (or years) at a time, then as soon as we’re back together, realize that nothing has changed. Knowing this couple personally, that describes them to the letter for us. We've known this amazing couple for years; no matter how much time passes, as soon as we're together, it feels like nothing at all.
Taylor and Amy are high school sweethearts. They feel in love and began to build a life together. And, few years later, they realized they just couldn’t stand their lives without each other!
Taylor proposed to Amy on the stage of a cruise ship during a crowd-participation act. Amy being the shy and laid-back one in the relationship never would have volunteered for something like this, but Taylor had organized ahead of time to be the couple chosen for the game. Amy ended up blindfolded, in front of a bunch of people, and she had to find her man just based on touching the people around her. Of course, she found Taylor, and as she took off her blindfold, he got down on one knee.
Being able to see these two interact with each other one-on-one... Let’s just say it’s no wonder they ended up together. It's hard to imagine one without the other. They make each other laugh, support each other through thick and thin - we couldn't ask for a more inspiring couple!
We are beyond happy for Taylor and Amy; we both truly adore these two and know that they have an incredible future ahead of them. We just feel lucky to be a part of it!
We had so much fun with their engagement shoot, and will have even MORE fun at their wedding next summer!

Photos from the Harty, a team of lifestyle, wedding, and event photographers, was founded by Sara (Hartenstine) Alepin in 2005 after she graduated with a BA in Art Studio & Education and began working on her MFA in Photography & Digital Imaging. After years of working together, Katie Lingan officially joined the team as lead photographer in 2013.
Over the years, we've learned a lot from capturing - and being a part of - all types of special moments, especially weddings. One thing that has really stuck with us: it's not only important that you love our images - you must also love your photographer. You will spend more time with us on your wedding day than anyone else. So, it's important that you enjoy being around us on your big day!
So, keep reading to get to know us better. If you like what you read and like what you see, please reach out to us. We look forward to meeting you!
